The Persian Gulf is one of the areas in the world facing the highest water scarcity. The ACP therefore supports the development of knowledge and dialogue on the common water cycle between the neighbouring countries in the region, against a backdrop of conflict, war and a lack of trust, in order to better manage the available water resources. As part of these mediation efforts, regular dialogue meetings are held in Stadtschlaining.
