Researchers at ACP work closely with partners from academia and practice within international research programmes. Our research agenda focuses on local peace processes, complex transition processes, gender and peacebuilding, the role of emerging powers in peacebuilding, the peace processes in Southern Sudan and Sudan, and the concept of resilience. In addition, the ACP also acts as an interface for collaborative research, at the national level, for example within the "Conflict, Peace and Democracy Cluster” and the Network for Peace and Conflict Research in Austria, and internationally within leading research consortia.
