EUPCST
The EU Police and Civilian Services Training (EUPCST) is an EU-funded programme with the aim of strengthening the EU's capacities in the area of civil crisis management.
The programme aims to strengthen the capacities of the EU, Member States and third countries to contribute to the civilian peacekeeping missions of the EU and other multilateral organizations, as well as to other EU stabilization measures. The programme also seeks to improve cooperation between the EU member states in the preparation of mission personnel and harmonize training approaches.
Within the framework of the project, the more than 20 members of the consortium, consisting of representatives of the police, gendarmerie and non-governmental organizations, organize training courses in various fields, exercises and conferences on key issues of civilian crisis management. The consortium is coordinated by the Dutch Royal Marechaussee.
Information about the training courses offered within the EUPCST program is distributed through the governments of the EU member states and the candidates are nominated by them. Austrian candidates can contact the ASPR and if they are interested and suitably qualified, they can be nominated by the ASPR.
